Date:

The last date for filing nominations in Rajasthan was 9 November. But even after the last date of nomination was over, it has come to light that many rebels of BJP and Congress did not withdraw their nominations. Hence, these candidates can increase the problems of both the parties.

Jaipur: The last date for withdrawal of nominations for the Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023 was completed on Thursday at 3 pm. After this, now the status of candidates contesting on 200 assembly seats in Rajasthan has become clear. According to the data of the Election Commission, a total of 3432 nominations were filed in Rajasthan. Out of these, 392 have been rejected. While 2576 nominations have been accepted. Today, on the last date for taking nominations, various candidates withdrew 464 forms. In such a situation, both the Congress and BJP parties tried a lot to persuade the rebel candidates. But some of these candidates agreed, but many candidates remained adamant to contest the elections. Now the rebel candidates of both the parties will create headaches for them by spoiling the equations in the elections. Let us try to understand the complete mathematics of rebel candidates from this report after the data of the Election Commission…

Both the parties tried hard to persuade the rebels
There are many famous assembly seats in Rajasthan. Rebel candidates of both the parties have contested on these seats. For this, both the parties made a lot of efforts to convince the rebel candidates. Some agreed, but some are still in the election field. In this case, Congress has been successful in convincing 4 rebel candidates. Whereas BJP has been able to convince only one candidate to withdraw from the field. After the last date for withdrawal of nomination, both the parties will have to face challenge from their rebel candidates as well. Which will definitely affect their equations.

Rebel candidates are standing on these assembly seats in Congress
After not getting ticket from Congress, many rebel candidates of his party have contested election as independent candidates. Due to this, Congress tried a lot to convince these candidates. Despite this, rebel candidates of Congress are still in the election fray in Sardarshahar, Hindaun City, Manohar Thana, Nagaur, Pushkar, Nagar, Chaurasi, Bichiwada, Siwana, Rajgarh Laxmangarh assembly constituencies. Who have not withdrawn their forms.

Congress celebrated rebel candidates in these assembly constituencies
Congress tried its best to persuade its rebel candidates. But it succeeded in persuading rebel candidates only in four of the prominent assembly seats. These include Masuda, Badi Sadari, Ajmer South and Sursagar assembly seats.

14 rebel candidates in BJP are in the election fray
Many rebel candidates are in the fray here too after not getting BJP ticket in the assembly elections. Although BJP also tried a lot to convince them. But BJP was more angry about the ticket. Even after the last date of nomination, 14 rebel candidates have become a challenge for BJP. These include Sanchore, Bassi, Chittorgarh, Kotputli, Shiv, Suratgarh, Deedwana, Bayana, Ladpura, Khandela, Pilani and Fatehpur assembly seats. Where rebel candidates are still in the fray.

BJP was able to convince only one candidate
There is a deep resentment in BJP regarding ticket distribution in this assembly election. BJP made a lot of efforts to convince the rebel candidates. But all the efforts failed. During this time, BJP has been able to convince only one candidate. Which is Jaipur's Jhotwara seat. Where the ticket of Vasundhara's close Rajpal Singh Shekhawat was cut. On this, Shekhawat filed an independent nomination. But on Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah called him and convinced him. After this, he has withdrawn his nomination.
